2024 Color Studies

Learning how to use watercolor, painting with values, and the properties of every single color I own by painting simple scenery using only one color each time. The references are usually quite simple and unoriginal, unfortunately, but I don't plan to be creatively ambitious with this series. It's just color practice. This mindset takes the weight off of learning. It helps with my terrible habit of expecting myself to constantly outdo my previous progress. These paintings take less time and effort, and are perfect for days when I don't feel like trying hard.
